Sadly this founding-father of the heavy metal genre left us very recently. He had a style all his own - dark and mysterious, but was also a huge character with a brilliantly wicked sense of humour. I've tried to capture his enigmatic side here, with his trademark circular sunglasses and of course factoring in a bat for good measure. This piece features 3 layers of laser cut acrylic - in gloss, shimmer, mirror and marble finishes, with some hand painted detail. Measuring approx 8.5cm x 5cm, he is a nicely wearable size, and is sure to catch any fan's eye.
